Lidia stands at the at the forefront of transformative healthcare as the founder and CEO of Solenne, where she leads a personalised, evidence-based approach to chronic disease prevention, management and reversal. Her work focuses on supporting sustainable lifestyle behaviour change to optimise metabolic health, prevent chronic health conditions and improve long-term health outcomes through a holistic, multidisciplinary model of care.
Lidia is a Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner and Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach, trained through the internationally recognised Functional Medicine Coaching Academy. She holds a Master of Lifestyle Medicine from Southern Cross University and is a Fellow of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (ASLM). She is a member of the Australasian Metabolic Health Society and Health Coaches Australia and New Zealand Association (HCANZA), with professional standards attainment through the UK & International Health Coaches Association (UKIHCA), and is currently completing her Fellowship with the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM).
With additional specialist training in metabolic health, nutritional medicine and the gut microbiome, Lidia works extensively with individuals experiencing metabolic syndrome and associated conditions including obesity, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, insulin resistance and dyslipidaemia. Her clinical approach integrates metabolic, lifestyle and functional medicine principles and behaviour change science to address root causes and support long-term health optimisation.
Lidia’s broad healthcare expertise is underpinned by her early career as a Speech Pathologist. She specialised in dysphagia management across hospitals, rehabilitation services and aged care, developing a deep understanding of complex chronic conditions, rehabilitation, frailty prevention and multidisciplinary healthcare delivery. Over 25 years ago, she founded her first business, AvantiCare, a highly regarded allied health organisation grounded in restorative care principles and dedicated to supporting health, function and independence in the aged care sector.
Recognised as a thought leader and healthcare innovator, Lidia was awarded the Telstra Business Women’s Award in 2019 and served as a judge on the Telstra Best of Business Awards panel in 2022. She has presented at conferences, served on advisory panels, chaired the board of a not-for-profit aged care organisation, and provided evidence to the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety.
